GOVERNMENT OF RWANDA:

• Ministry of Health for Three University Teaching Hospitals incorporating: King Faisal Hospital, Kigali (KFH, K), Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Kigali (CHUK) and Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Butare (CHUB):

  Facilitation and support of a Quality Assurance and Accreditation Programme since January 2005 to date (KFH, K has been in the programme from the start whereas CHUK and CHUB joined the programme in November 2005). This project completed in December 2006.

• King Faisal Hospital, Kigali:
  1. Health Technology Management (Inventory, Asset Register, Replacement Programme, Development of Specifications and Tender Evaluations), project completed.
  2. Strategic Planning Development Facilitation, this strategic plan was approved by the Government of Rwanda Cabinet in March 2006.
  3. Surgical Instruments audit, review, planning and specifications development; project completed
  4. Facilitation of a Quality Management and Accreditation Programme since March 2008 to date (KFH, K had been in a preparatory phase of the programme from January 2005 to October 2006). This project is currently underway for a period of two years.

• TRACplus Strategic Planning :

  Strategic plan development facilitation currently underway

• Rwanda Nursing & Midwifery Council :

  Strategic plan development facilitation: Project completed

• Central Public Investments and External Finance Bureau (CEPEX)

  Development of National Projects Management Manuals: Project completed

• University Teaching Hospitals Strategic Planning:

  Strategic plan development facilitation: Project completed

• University Teaching Hospital of Kigali (CHUK):

  Facilitation of a Quality Assurance and Accreditation Programme since March 2008 to date; this project is currently underway a year.
